The last Day of the Fair Weekend

Well Friday i went on Mt Vernon and chilled with my grandmother and my bestfriend. I also went shopping at my little duck off and i bought me a pair of number 13 Jays cause i had to take it back. I bought some Jeans for the kast day of the fair. I also gave some money to my grandma so she can get her some stuff. Saturday i wen to the West side to see my other mom and the otherside of my family. I went up there with my bestfriend.

Sunday was the last day of the fair and i was so excited. You had to bring a coca cola bottle or can and recycle it to get in for only two dollars. So i brought a coke product with me and i got in. Then i had to leave right back so i got my stamp so i didnt have to pay again. Then i went to the westsifde to get my niece so that she can go. While i was there i seen all my friends, and it was hot as heck. We picked the hottest day to go to the fair. When i got home i felt a little sick i hopped on the bus then i went home.

This week was not so bad because of it being the paying week. On the weekend i plan to go to the last day of the fair with my friends. Also i plan to go shopping and chill with y best friend over on Mt Vernon. I figured i would spend a little time with y grandma also this weekend. I plan on just having fun this weekend.

When the program is over i decided to expand my computer knowledge back into CSCC. Because Assistive Technology is not something i want to do in my career. I will take my auto mechanic classes that i been thinking about taking and i might take my techbridge class over agian.
What i will miss most about the program are the people. But i wont miss waking up early everyday. And i wont miss the 5 page journals but i will miss the paycheck. Just kidding. The program to me was ok and i did not, not like it but it wasn't all skipping dandy. I enjoyed being here and learning what i have learned. Learning more only makes me smarter.

One Of The Best Weekend

My weekend was ok. I was with my bestfriend the whole weekend and went shopping. Also we went to KC sports and City Center for some Jays. Then after that we went to the southside to her cousins house because she was having a party and we stayed till like 3 am the next day. That was on friday.
Saturday i woke up late around 12 or 1 pm and i felt a little sick. So then later on that day my friend and i went to the Westside and went to her moms house. Her mother cooked for us and it was good. We took the number 6 that night, the last one to get home. The bus sat down town for about thirty minutes and we were getting irritated. But we met some new people while we were on the bus. But every weekend i spend with my best friend is one of the best.

August 1 AT Experiences

Well today i found out that my learning style is called kinesthetic. Which technically i like things to be done for me in a physical form or way. I' a hands- on type of person thats what it said and i do agree on that. I dont like sitting around being bored but i like to do things.

Knowing more about my learning styles will help me improve in school. I can start making charts, flash cards, or something that will get me hands on. Having grop discussions and presentations. Instead of sitting around i could be doing something constructive.

I found out that Lupe fiasco wrote his song 'Kick,Push' because of his love for skateboarding. The song is also about his first time ever gettin on a skateboard and he busted hias lip. Also the song is about a boy trying to find love in gurls who like the same thing he likes.

My Weekend

Well Friday the 27 th i got my first check. First i went to the mall and i bought my first day of the fair outfit. I bout some shoes and some shorts and i got a shirt airbrushed. Then i went over on MTV and GWAY and kicked it for a minute. Then i had to babysat my two little cousins.
I didnt spend my money all in one place i still have some spending money left. I also bought some minutes for my phone and bought some earrings. I gave some money to my grandma and to my bestfriend. Even though the check was not that much for like 3 weeks it was iight cause it got me what i wanted.
I hope that my next check is bigger than that so i can try to buy some school clothes wit that check i do recieve. But i'm greatful and i know i cant get the check i'm supposed to get so i guess i have to deal with it. Overall my weekend was ok

My Week

Monday was okay but it was kinda slow like every other Monday. We started working on our business Issistive technology device in groups. We are continuing and working hard putting in group effort to complete our device. Our prohect is going kind of slow but we are doing well. But i have faith that it will be great.
During the middle of the week i found out that the Ohio State Fair started on the first of August so then the rest of the week went by pretty fast. This week i felt pretty good, no fights, no arguments, nothing negative. I stayed pretty positive this week but this project is putting alot of stress on me though. It is alot of work and everyone is rushing, then it turned into a competion for some money when the main goal is to help help some one else.
When i get my check i'm going to go buy winter clothes because they are cheaper now. It is my first check so i'm going to spend most of it. But this week was ok not to bad but i've been waiting for the weekend all week.

Rib Fest Weekend

My weekend couldn't have been any better. Saturday i gathered up all my peoples and we went to the Rib fest. It was aight but it was jumpin as soon as we stepped up in there ya dig? It was about 12 of us and more and more kept coming. We were clowin and just having a good ol time. I did'nt eat any ribs because i dont like pork but the funnel cakes were delicious. My bestfriend and i had to split one because they were expensive.

Once the night at the Rib Fest was over, my peoples and i went to south field. We had a little house party and blah blah blah. We were dancing in the middle of the street and taking pictures. I enjoyed this weekend i been waiting for that day for a very long time. I'm glad i was there and i'm glad it was fun.

My First Week

I enjoyed my first week at lead the way. My week went pretty well. I met new people and i learned new things. I learned about Second life, and i learned about assistive technology and different forms of robots. I learned that robots do 90 percent of mechanical work. I also learned about child hood labor from back in the day. I enjoyed the activity we did on that.

I also learned about African American discrimination. I also learned how to use brail for the blind and what every bump means. I came across google earth while i been here where i can see different businesses and never be lost. This week has been a great week. I enjoy being here and i hope week is like this or better.

My Unsatisfying Weekend

Friday i went to my grandmother house for a weekend visit just to get out the house. She stays on Mt. Vernon and 20th, in the Plaza tower. Saturday i spent the night over my bestfriends house on Mt.Vernono and St. Clair and we babysat all night long. All we did was watch t.v. and listen to the baby cry.
I did not have a very good weekend. It was worse then i expected, but life is what you make of it. So i'm hoping for a better next weekend. i plan to go out to the club and just kick it with my friends and also attend the Rib Fest on the 20-22. I hope my next weekend will be a little better than the last.

I enjoy taking LEAD THE WAY classes because it will help me further my career in computer technology. I expect to learn more then i already know, expand my knowledge, and further my education. In the orientation, everything was explained clear enough for me to understand considering the fact i started 3 weeks late.

While i'm here i expect to learn things that i never knew existed. I expect to meet new people and trade ideas. I am glad to have the opputunity to better myself and my life. Being in LEAD THE WAY summer program is helping me stay out of trouble and be more responsible in life. Having to come here everyday is a duty that i must tend to because if i dont stay out of trouble i will not be able to achieve my goals.

So i hope everything works out for me and the rest of the class, so we can all be something in the future.
